Market Drayton Town 1 Chasetown 0

The sight of Town manager Simon Line standing at the dressing room door, shaking the hand of each player as they entered, told the story of this tough derby clash.
Coming hot on the heels of the.unlucky FA Cup defeat by Gainsborough Trinity, the game was a rightly seen by Line as a vital and demanding yardstick of Town's ability to bounce back from a crucial setback.
His delight and reaction said it all - and if it didn't he soon pressed home the point in his post-match summery
"The character and commitment we showed was great; terrific," he said.
"The character and commitment we showed was great," he said. "We had to show we could get back in there after a really disappointing result we did not deserve.
"We had to dig in. We knew that any opportunity they had to put the ball in our box then they would do and to be honest we defended particularly well.
"People will say a draw would have been a fairer result but at the end of day we've scored and defended very well and so deserved the three points."
Duncan Horler's deciding free kick did take a deflection and it wasn't a match for the purists with tackles flying in early on as both teams failed to create any real chances.
Town probably shaded the opening 20 minutes with goalscorer Horler and Nicky Porter testing visiting keeper Ryan Price.
As the half wore on it was the Scholars who began to control possession and forced Drayton to defend in numbers.
But it wasn't until five minutes before the break that the visitors created their first real chance.
A long pass caught out home defender Grant Goodhead allowing former Telford United striker Gary Birch a sight at goal.
Despite a hint of handball Birch nudged the ball past onrushing keeper Andrew Spooner, only for Goodhead to make amends for his earlier mistake by galloping back to prod the ball out for a corner.
Town were lucky - but moments later they could have been in front.
A flowing counter attack ended with Martyn Davies finding his strike partner Tom Ward who skipped round one tackle before a sprawling Price denied him.
After the break Town side improved but it was the introduction of Tom Rogers from the bench which provided more punch to the attack.
He could have scored with his first touch when, after a Porter cross from the right was only partially cleared, he volleyed straight at Price from 12 yards.
Five minutes later the hosts did take the lead when Horler curled a delicious 25 yard free kick into the top left hand corner - via a slight deflection off the wall.
The final 15 minutes were played out mainly in Drayton territory as Chasetown poured forward in search of a leveller - but their hopes of a point were strangled by Town's defence and finally died after sub Craig Milligan blazed over from just inside the
